SON Information Session Regarding TC Energy’s Proposed Pumped Storage Project in the SON Territory

This past weekend the Joint Chiefs and Councils of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation held community information sessions in both Saugeen and Nawash regarding TC Energy’s proposed pumped storage project in the SON Territory. These meetings were held so that SON could share how we will engage with TC Energy on the project.

TC Energy will be holding its own meetings in the Communities and we are encouraging SON  members to attend, share concerns, and ask questions directly to TC Energy. These meetings are scheduled for 6-8PM November 27 at the James Mason Rec Centre in Saugeen and November 28 at the Cape Croker Community Centre in Nawash.

For those who were unable to attend the SON meetings this past weekend, please find below the information that was shared with members. If you have any questions regarding the information contained in this booklet, as always please feel free to contact the Environment Office (519) 534-5507 or soneo@saugeenojibwaynation.ca.

On our live webcast next Wednesday November 20, we will walk through the information contained in this booklet. Tune in live to ask your questions! (Instructions to join the webcast below)
